We don't seem to have much versatility in our flyers, even if we do have 'the best' flyers, that said phoenix's are good for the points.
We seem to lack bombers.
Imperium <200pts, chaos <150pts & even orcs <150pts have cheap bombers & Imperium have super heavy ones, where are ours?
Maybe our Vampires should have a bombing rather then transport option, in addition to their titan-killing and anti-personel configurations.
Also where are the hover-mode flyers from the apocolypse rules? Shurely they should be Eldar devices? I can't find any, anywhere.

A ) We're a scalpel to the Imperial's sledgehammer
B ) Pulsars in my mind are more reliable then the hellstrom and the apocalyptic templates
C ) 30 of the correct models of our army in the right place can be just (if not better) then a bomb anyday

Yeah Eldar don't really carpet bomb, they use lance technology. Their heaviest guns are the huge D-Cannons on one of the super heavies and their Titan guns.
Who needs bombs when you can rip an aimed hole in the universe?

Precise meaning no scatter? Um....6 1/2. Rangers count as half. :] 7 1/2 with D-Cannons.

If you really want to bomb something use the Sunstrom Squadron they can hit everything and stay out of range of what survives.

Indeed knowledgable ones, I now understand our lack of intrisically inaccurate bombs.
The other question still stands about the hover-fliers though, we are masters of anti-grav but neither us or anyone else seems to have these.
A final flyer question, the apocolypse rules give the option for mounting jump troops in superheavy fliers, is there a reson for this other than aesthetic. I like the idea of 'paratroopers' but this is implied in the rules for jump-troops isn't it?

IIRC our standard transports ( waveserpent, falcon ) are actually flight capable. There is even an apoc formation to turn falcons into flyers. The valk for imperial guard is a hovering vehicle as well. They don't have hover fliers because they already exist in the form of fast skimmers.
