Hi guys,

I am after some opinions on my Eldar force, I have a fair few of the models now and I am only a couple of units away from having all the models.

HQ

Farseer: Doom, Guide, Spirit Stones, Singing Spear, Runes of Witnessing 133

Phoenix Lord: Fuegen 205

Elite

6 Firedragons: Exarch upgrade, Dragons Breath Flamer, Crack Shot 113
Waveserpent: Twin-linked brightlances, spirit stones 145

Troops

5 Pathfinders 120

10 Guardians: Eldar missile launcher, Warlock with Embolden, Spirit Seer upgrade 136

10 Guardians: Scatter Laser, Warlock with Destructor, Spirit Seer upgrade 136
Waveserpent: Twin-linked scatter lasers, spirit stones 125

10 Direavengers: Exarch upgrade, powerweapon/shimmershield, defend, bladestorm 177

Fast Attack

3 Vypers: Eldar missile launcher, shuriken cannon upgrade 225

Heavy

Wraithlord: Brightlance, Eldar missile launcher 155

2 Warwalkers: 2 shuriken cannons each 80

So far I have everything except the guardian squad waveserpent and the vypers.

Any general comments would be appreciated.

Fuegan is an odd HQ, I have used him several times and while he has not always made his points he has often turned the battle by a well timed charge into melee. Still not sure if he fits into a no holds barred tourny list though. I would also look to add runes of warding to the farseer to mess with enemy powers.

The guardians in the serpent would most likely work best as storm guardians. ( storms in a serpent are my favorite squad ). The DAs generally work better in transports so moving the serpent to them and keeping the guardians as is works also.

Heavy support seems decent no real complaints about them.

The vypers are going to be fragile but they can keep up with the serpents so could do well. I think they are the unit I would be most inclined to remove or reduce for something else. A second wraithlord or more walkers come to mind as well as turning one guardian squad to storms and buying them a transport.

Hi.
I saw your list and maybe its just not my playstyle but here are a few tips.

Farseer: Doom, Guide, Spirit Stones, Singing Spear, Runes of Witnessing 133
So how will you be using doom and guide together? I mean the farseer stays back or does it go with the serpent?

10 Direavengers: Exarch upgrade, powerweapon/shimmershield, defend, bladestorm 177
I would give them the serpent instead if you are planning to use platform guardians, since theey need their hvy weapon to fire as often as possible plus the bladestorm makes these guys unable to fire for 1 turn which they could spend in a nice, comfy waveserpent.
10 Guardians: Eldar missile launcher, Warlock with Embolden, Spirit Seer upgrade 136
I dont think a guardian should have missles go for scatter instead (guide goes for walkers, or?)

3 Vypers: Eldar missile launcher, shuriken cannon upgrade 225
So basically I would say take 2 vypers with holo+spiritstone and scatter and separate them. I once had a match 2 years ago where 1 vyper took 2 missles and 1 lascanon shoots (every turn) for 3 turns and on the fourth lost his main weapon. Basically i would say if he shoots the vyper with anti tank and it survives its the same as giving a tank a not be able to fire shot, off course the if it was your shot you would be happier. Anyways they can soak up a lot since eldar tanks are paper like...

2 Warwalkers: 2 shuriken cannons each 80
i would say scatter laser, bigger range/str and with guide thats 8 str6 shots a turn and its like if it were twin linked.

I agree with the storm guardians (with flamer) idea in the serpent by the way:)

Ermh nice list by the way I think it could also work as it is right now, these were my 2 cents and never send an eldar vehicle without the spirtistone+holofield modifications because they are as good as dead. Yeah vypers are usually considered as suicidal but hey if kited out they can survive and haras for quite some time and their speed makes them a great assesment for side/rear tankhunting. Just a few things that worked for me. It might not work for you, because of the unique style of play we all have^^ I hope this helped good luck with the list
