Ok more than possibly Probably i was wondering if kharn Gets the +1 attack since he has a close combat weapon and a plasma pistol which normally grants +1 attack or it just stays the same since he is a special character
Many Thanks to anyone that can help me

Gorechild is not a CCW, it is a powerweapon, and therefore doesn't get the extra attack from the pistol.
Edit: I'm quite wrong on this, Rabbit has explained it very well. Makes me want to use Kharn again! (it's been awhile...)
You asked a really good question, it made me think for a little while!

Gorechild is treated as a power weapon. Power weapons are classified as "special close combat weapons." Page 42 of the Big Book (second column, under the heading A normal and a special weapon) states that models carrying a normal close combat weapon & a special close combat weapon gain one additional attack to their profile.
EDIT: So yes, Kharn gains a +1A for having a pistol & Gorechild.

Just in case you're looking for a confirming opinion, I'm pretty positive Rabbit nailed it - have fun butchering with Kharn! (and his extra attack!)

Thankyou for for your help and yay now kharn is even more brutal
i have two more questions though with abaddon does he get another +1 attack for having two close combat weapons
and
if abaddon roles a one for his +d6 attacks does he lose a wound and cant attack like a normal daemon weapon ?
again thankyou in advance to anyone who can help me with this

Abadon isn't equipped with two close combat weapons of any kind. He has the unique Drach'nyen daemon sword and the talon of Horus. These two "weapons" (for lack of a better word) are combined under the description heading Daemon Sword Drach'nyen and Talon of Horus and confer upon Abadon all the mechanics as listed under this heading. Note: This does not account for two close combat weapons.
Abadon's daemon weapon falls under the rules of any other daemon weapon. So, if he rolls a "1" then he is affected just like any other model wielding a daemon weapon.

You are correct in this -- it's just another example of the GW writers not paying attention to their own rules and fluff. In the previous Codex, Abaddon was said to have complete mastery over Drach'nyen, which is what made it/him so powerful. Wouldn't it make sense for him to ignore or at least re-roll a 1 on his daemon weapon bonus attacks roll??

Totally agree Aeroplane... I mean this 10,000 year old Space Marine, a supposed clone of Horus and often the leader of the many Chaos Legions, and one of the most powerful and influential beings in the 40K universe... has a 1-in-6 chance to not attack you at all and stand there in a stupor? Come on!

a supposed clone of Horus
He's the one that destroyed the Horus clones - he was around WAY before that little bit of mischief.

Nice fluff knowledge reality checkque - but the old codex talked about rumors of Abaddon being a clone-son of Horus (before all that Emperor's Children nonsense). In fact, as a pathetic side note, I think that is the only time the Black Legion actually WON a battle.

Well in a way all Space Marines are psuedo-clones of their primarchs, but the "Clones of Horus" saga was an attempt to completely recreate him. Abaddon would never have been able to order the attack on the cloning facility if he was one of the newborn clones... once again GW got the wrong end of their own stick :D
