It looks pretty solid.

First thing I noticed though is that you used the rune of gromgril, but it's the Master rune of gromgril.

You can swap his masterrune of gromgril for a rune of stone. Saves you 20 points and you've got a 2+ save, 1+ in combat. It's a masterrune so you can't have 2 of those. Your thane has one too.

Your thanes are now more support heroes, with a battle standard and the MroChallenge. I think you'd better made one a combat hero with a great weapon. Warriors of chaos are heavily armed so you will want to smash through the high toughness and high armour.

Also consider the power of the rune of slowness. I don't know if the gyro is a good choice, except for marchblocking, but you've got a good amount of shooting, so thats ok.

Ok, so I played around with this a bit. Gave the Runelord a +2 AS/+4 WS, should make him pretty hardy. However, I might drop that for 2 spell breakers... I will have to think about it.

I dropped the Gyro, it doesnt do much in this list anyway, and picked up a cannon. I am kinda iffy on this as well, my other thought was to add slayers for a flank/tarpit. Let me know what you think is more attractive.

I don't think slayers would do any good, as warriors of chaos are a ridiculous fighting force in close combat and they would chop down half the unit in the first round of combat.

Be carefull though, it's 2500 pts so he will undoubtedly have a chaos lord on dragon of uber overpowerdness. And he will fly towards your anvil, utterly wipe the floor with it and then proceed with the rest of your army. So use the rune of wrath and ruin on him so he can't fly.
What works well too is to drop the cannon and use 2 boltthrowers with engineers and the rune of flakkson. +1 against flyers. BS4 against a large target and +1 against flyers. Even if he is at long range you hit him on 2's :D

Personally i'd be dropping either the hammerers or the ironbreakers. I'd take either another canon or 2 bolt throwers to fill that special slot, then i'd be taking a 2nd organ gun. Shooting is what seems to tear up chaos for me especially our weapons with armour pen.
