Price increase on 40k this summer?

Hey everyone,

I heard GW was going to raise the prices on some of their WH40k stuff this past summer, but I've been out of the game for most of the year and I just got back.

Has this price increase occured yet? Or was it just a rumour? If it has, what product prices have increased, and by how much?

(i.e. I have noticed a couple of prices that I think may have increased. The first one is Ork Bikerz, I thought they previously costed about $36 for the box of 3, but now they cost $41. Also, Battlewagons. Thought they used to cost about $50, now they cost around $57).

Of course, I could be wrong on those prices, I rarely pay full GW retail for stuff.

They did increase their prices. I don't have a list anywhere, but I know they went up.

To soften the blow, they introduced a "limited time" period of free shipping.

Course, that was in June, and they're still offering free shipping through November.

I flipped a lid when I saw that it cost $41 for just 3 plastic Bikerz, it's £23 quid over here :P.

If there's a price increase next year, I'm going to larf in GW's face. :soldier:

Ork Bikers would cost you $50 Canadian in Janurary of 2008 (this is official information as this was the price printed in the White Dwarf), ie when they were released, they then dropped to about $40 if Ièm not mistaken, and since the raise in prices their now at $48 :P and if these crazy changes weren't enough, many items on GW for Canadian even include cents, such as the Spear of sicarius which is a rediculas $1277 and 50 cents, or any of their Sternguard Veteran blisters priced at $13 and 75 cents.
