New to 40k need some ideas

Ok so heres what ive got so far

2- bikers
24- beserkers
1- chaos lord
5- terminators
20- csm
2- rhino
1- land raider
1- vindicator
1- defiler

I got the strike force box and got a few things from my bro. I was thinking of purchasing
another-

20- csm
2- rhinos
4- obliterators
5- terminators
some havocs maybe 10 and maybe another defiler?

what do you guys think? and also could you help me with some ideas for a 1500 point army and a 750 point army using the lists above. My brother plays Tyranids thnx all

thnx for the help Mad Cat, what do you think of what im looking at buying is it worth it or is there some other stuff that would be better to buy, I'll def get a daemon prince. thnx again

Yeah, a demon prince is almost needed in our lists to be competitive these days

Keep a 2000 point list similar

But, instead of the rhino for the zerkers, give them the landraider, and an personal icon.
Up your zerkers to 10 in the squad.

Keep the termies in reserve.

Charge the landraider forward, and use the icon to deepstrike the termies, shoot the hell outta a target, and charge them with the zerkers if needed.

If you play a game where you don't have to say what is in the transports (how I normally play), it's even more effective, because he doesn't know if he has to stop a huge CC zerker charge, or a karmoon special.

are there other must buy things besides the Daemon Prince? the top list is what I have the other is what i might buy. Im new to this and was just basing my ideas the codex and what i liked the looks of but the second choices are not definates im open to suggestions on wht to get next. thnx again
