I'm finding that the "Please vote for LO" floating box with what looks like a washing machine in it appears slap in the middle of the page every time I go to a new page. Every time I click on a new page in this site - topic, forum, or reply - it appears.

Is anyone else having this same problem/finding it as inconvenient as I am?

This box is supposed to show up one time each 12 hour. If you get it all the time you should check if your browser accept cookies or not.

Well, tried what you said, but no luck - I think it's a problem with my Internet Explorer.

So I moved to the new Firefox browser instead - it rocks (Y) 8)

yeah, firefox is great. You can also use the live bookmarks option it got for our RSS feed (Y)

Get the ad-blocker extension for Firefox. It's the single most useful bit of code I've ever come across.

You can add regular expressions to the block list to prevent any ads (not just the ones you're seeing) from showing up.

Not only will you never get the washing machine (I think firefox off the shelf blocks it anyway) but once you master the blocker you'll only ever see ads for the first time... ever.

And yeah, having live bookmarks is great.
