When are the new sm terminators supposed to be comming out in the US? I thought they were supposed to be released with the codex but they havent :( Comments are greatly appreciated! :D

Yeah, DAMN OGRES. i think they need to focus some energy on doing up 40K, not doing asomething half baked, like bringin out the codex, promising models, and not delivering on time...tey did that with the Tau...slimy bas-tards....

I don't mean to sound bitter but, whenever they damn well feel like it! seriously though, early next year I'd fathom.

I've been told by a fairly good GW source it will be next January / February in the UK.

theres no point getting bitter about it - GW have been steadily releasing armies at the rate of 2 fantasy and 2 40K for several years now. every 3 months you get a new army - whats to complain about? imagine the workload that gives the sculptors, painters and writers!! personally i think they do pretty good to get the armies out as quick as they do and to be honest, if all they ever released was the same old armies that were then redun as the next ed came out, Id probably not want to play any of the new edition - the fact that they release new races, new models and rules/fluff, etc, means that there is always new life being injected. Stop with the whinging, they WILL get there eventually

Not really whinging, it just seems like an odd business descision to not release one of the most popular sets of models before christmas, they're missing a load of money here, that's all. Just seems strange.

They aren't really losing any money, as they will sell the current models to anybody who plays, as it is christmas, excess money, presents being bought for someone to open christmas day, it's actually a very good ploy.

They sell you the old stuff before or just after christmas, and then they hold back on the models you really want for a couple or three months, thinking that very few of us will hang onto that christmas gift money that long and so when they do release them we go out and buy them anyway.

Win Win for them, not so good for us.

I've heard February also in the UK. That's all I know. I thought they'd be coming later than that.

I think the new termis look totaly different i think they more like the daemonhunter termis now.
Anyway i was expecting them out a couple of months after christmas but thats just me. When are the honour guard out.

they dont look THAT different. they only got new more "dynamic" poses. their armor has the same shapes, but doesnt look that bulky anymore. 2 words: Cowboy Poses :D

I don't like the new poses. Terminator armor is suppose to be heavy and bulky..thats why it gives such great protection to its bearer. I mean there suppose to teleport everywhere and they can't make a sweeping advance only consolidate which tells me something.

Damn, they still look like bulldogs. I hate those helmets. That's why I'm getting DH teminators... well, not entirely, but oh well.

The new plastic box will have 5 termies, 2 optional chainfists, plastic cyclone (No more "targeter"... yay!), plastic assault cannon, plastic hvy flamer. They are going to be on larger bases.

arent there gonna be assualt weapons in the box too? I cant see why they wouldnt include them...

wrong, I've heard nothing about plastic assault termies... and yeah if GW can they will make you buy the blisters.

if they dont include the assault bits now, then they wont in the future. they may be available from mail ordere, but not as plastics. its just the same carrot as the weapon options for chaos warriors

Really the only difference is the updated paintjob, and the new poses. That's all I can tell from the pic. And a guy without a helmet. Idiot, get your helmet back on! Before the enemy snipers arrive!

I think they explained that bare headed terminator models are protected by a powerful field about the head. still, it seems a little crazy to trust in that when you could have a helmet with its accompanying auto-senses

am i the only one who LIKES the new termies? theyre a LOT better than the old ones. I could never imagine an old termie even being able to move! Those poor bastards looked like trash cans.. the new ones are way better

i think the new temie armour looks really good. and the guy without a helmet is just probably trying to look like logan grimnar. and when logan can manage without a helmet, and still be the old wolf for 400 years and still counting, a couple of other marines could probably manage through one single battle..

I like them! theyve got more movement than the old metal ones and I dont even wanna mention the old plastic ones........

The box set contains enough components for 5 Terminators and includes parts for a Sergeant, Assault Cannon, Heavy Flamer, Cyclone Missile Launcher and Terminators armed with Chainfists.

Ahhhhh! You guys and the way you write the date! I am an American, so i read that as it come out the 4th of September? Not knowing where you are from, i can not confirm how you wrote the date, but i would think that is a bit far off, so are they going to be released on the 9th of April? Please help me!

I think the new models look great. But does anyone know if there are plans to release Chaos versions of the new Terminators? A more archaic or gothic looking armour would be great but if they just included different arms (minus the shoulder cross) and weapons (ie Reaper ACs, combi weapons, etc....) that would be fine. Any info out there? Thanks
