Yes, probably. Though I still doubt they will get their own army book, but I wish they would, like in 5th ed.

If anything chaos dwarves will be out after wood elves. They are being mentioned more and more as time goes by in the fluff, and they are desperatly in need of a revamp. Plus their just so cool, and GW has stated an interest in redoing them. DOW might be out after them, but personally i dont think theres too big a hope for them getting an army book in this edition. Even chaos dwarves,if done, would be out in like 2 years at the least, and thats close to the time planned for 7th edition.

Might be on the cards, but I've heard nothing about it. You can, however, use most Ogre Kingdom units as Dogs of War in any army, so that might be the first step in the right direction. :hmm:

Dogs of war don't need a new army book just new rules and models!! Anyway after Wood elves I think GW should move east doing Cathy and Nippon

From what Ive heard, Dogs of War wont be coming out for ages sadly... Several people have even said that they wont be coming out at all, but i doubt that...

From what i heard it was Ogres, Wood Elves, Dogs of War, and then Chaos Dwarves. Another thing I dont think GW shouldnt explore east. They dont need to copy our world, they already have enough. They should make more original armies instead of copying them from real life.

You think they ARE bringing back Chaos dwarfs? I heard they were never coming back!

They have already brought out models for chaos dwarfs the hellcannon so i reckon that there is a good chance that they will bring back chaos dwarfs.

I hope they do. Im not a fantasy player but I do like to keep up with it! It would be cool if they did Araby, but with a more tribal, savage look.

Araby, Wood elves, Chaos dwarves and Dogs of war are the only armies in the old world not to hav an army book so yeah they should all be done before they move east to Cathy and Nippon.

way back in 1st ed there were models for nippon and cathay, so they are not completely unlikely. The problem with chaos dwarfs is making an army that is signifcantly different from dwarfs without just making them short chaos warriors. If they have too many war machines. they will be just the same as dwarfs, too few and they wont fit in with the fluff. I would rather see them do a hobgoblin army based on horse nomads, seeing as the last two sets of hobgoblins have been that way anyway... horse nomads could be achieved by enabling them to make a flee and shoot charge reaction.
I would like to see dogs of war, but I would rather see them do a proper army list for Tilea or Estalia, where most of the DoW troops come from in the first place. Perhaps future army lists will all have some troops which will be able to join other armies as DoW? it would certainly make monetary sense for GW to do that as they would sell extra copies of each army book. araby isnt likely for several years at the least, considering the current world political climate, but I may be wrong, the armies they made for harad in LOTR are beautiful and certainly arabesque. Wood elves are a problem for GW as they want to make them less feral, but if conversions made from wood elf models are anything to go by, every player wants them feral. I say GW should just GIVE IN and make them how everyone wants them - tattooed heathen elves, with wardancers as core and plastics, well sculpted dryads who dont look like angry stumps and nothing at all sculpted by TRISH MORRISON.

ahh yes pygmis - the first attempt to populate the Southlands.

I read an interview yesterday that said that wood elves were definately out in 2nd half of 2005, that they are in post production now (all the printing, etc) BUT that there will be no DoW book in the foreseeable future. It would seem that the way that ogre DoW units are included in the Ogre Kingdoms book may well be the way that DoW troops will be in the future. I like this idea, as it insinuates that there will be a tilea, estalia or araby book in the future. Also, it mentioned that there will be an Araby army for Warmaster, but not necessarily for warhammer. it said tht theyre not sure what to do with the chaos dwarfs, but the ogre kingdoms is their last look to the east for a while, which means that its gonna be years before we see anything from cathay, nippon or the kingdoms of ind. it also probably means it will be a while too until we see anything about the chaos dwarfs. We will be seeing new plastics for skaven and skinks and possibly a new lizardmen monster and sotek inspired army list.
