Question for the mods, really...
How does the copyright thing work? In the Pointless Topics thread there was talk about wording and so on. Perhaps if this were clarified then people wouldn't have to be told not to post stats/have threads locked and such.

Well reproducing stats and rules is illegal, as is posting of scanned pages etc. I don't really know the full details, but this may help more;

Maybe it is picky, but lets say that you had done some work and you wanted to sell it to people so that you could make some money. Perfectly acceptable. But wait nasty slimey has just come along and stolen all of your work and made it freely available to anyone that wants it on that big old interweb thing.
Suddenly no-one wants to buy what you were going to sell because they can get it for free. You've got no money to feed your family and your house has been repossessed!!!
You'd be pretty annoyed I think.

Just remember to abide by the rules and you wont have the games workshop naziesque solicitors banging on your door demanding blood and generally trying to stop you from expressing your opinions.

Yes, protecting one's ideas from those who try to exploit and profit from someone else's hard work can only be labelled as Nazis. These laws can be onerous at times but they are there for a reason.
