the only sort of confirmed one is that the BT is after the Tyranids

I have heard. and this is definitely a rumour, that GW are going to alternate between a Space Marines codex and a non-SM codex (eg. Vanilla-Nids-BT-...).

Anybody know when the new Orks will be arriving?

Not really. Most of the SM chapters that'll get their own codices will have quite a few new models that'll easily fill quite a lot of time, even if they only updated the current models. And that assumes there aren't going to be any new units for the different armies (though if C:SM is anything to go by, there won't be too many).

Incidentally, does anybody know how long will be between each army release?

6 months I believe, with an army book in the middle.

I heard GW were laying off 40K for a bit and that new codexes would be randomly released, Dark eldar isnt being released until 2006 though...

GW dont do anything randomly & they will keep to the 3 month release scheduale

Also, a product release schedule turned up on portent, I believe it said the nid battle force was coming out in May or March.

Tyranid Army Set: May.

However, the schedule doesn't mention the Codex yet... Would seem odd to get a Tyranid Army Set (most probably with the new models) but no 4thEd rules! :blink:

Don't forget about Tau, I think they have been running on the same codex since they first came out.

They first came out in late 3rd edition. They shouldn't be getting a new one in quite some time. Same with Necrons.

why are they doing loads of space marain ones or ar they doing individule bits for other armys as well

where is the soures for these extra space marain bits inbetween proper codexes that people need?
