Now go to the bottom, see those Valhallan and SL models. This raises 2 questions
1. What are they doing out of the collectors and classics section they used to be in?
2. Why is it just the oficers and weapons crews, and not the troops and vehicles (bar the sentinal).

Now go to the classic and collectores secrtion:

You will see there are no Valhallan or SL models there. Meening you can no longer get your hands on the basic troops from GW. Why would GW discontinue the SL and Valhallan troops, wile putting there metal Officers and weapons crew back on the list of current IG units? I beleeve that new plastic Gaurd are iminent, and that they will be "trench coat" Gaurd, with SL and Valhallan heads so you can use it to create eather regiment.

You may now all call me a stupid fool whos jumped to an improbably conclusion and mock me mercilessly.

They haven't discontinued them... They've just been removed from the site for now.. you can still order them from the online-store by using the 'Search' option.. Simply search under 'Steel Legion' or 'Valhallan' or 'Ice Warrior' and you will find them...

I cant find any steel legion basic troops (found the ice warriors thou) even with the search function, just the special/heavy weapons and officers that i found in the IG product list. And even if thats just my total incompitance and lack of a grasp on reality (and search engines), that dosnt explain why the Valhallan officers and special weapons are still up, and have been moved out of the classics section

this has been discussed on boot camp as well (original rumor from portent.net)

indeed it is a mystery and i cant wait to find out the ending.
