well i'd really like to know aswell but as far as i know i think it might be everything but the dragon or even everything!

i think the main change will be to the dryads. instead of being small trees their going to be some kind of magical elf lady.

can't wait for the new stuff.... esspecially special characters!

Yeah, I'm considering a WE army after I finish the VC one I've been working on for half a year. Any word on when the codex is due?

i hear august, summer in general, and end of summer. so by october there should be a new army book out. can't wait, inless GW completely botches WE i'm collecting them.

I spoke with a GW rep, and it's for augus,t mid to end.

Everything asides for the D I heard, but he wasn't 100% sure on the dragon guess we'll have to wait!

Here's a list of some of the rumors i've collected about the new WE's

-there will be two sizes of Treemen, and Treemen Heroes/Characters.
-The archers will have the choice to be skirmishers or not,
-Dryads will be the same size of an ogre. Archers and Glade Guard will be in one box and you can decide to make them archers or Glade Guard.
-Most of the models will be plastic.
-you can have the choice to make your army unique, such as you can make a plain elf army or an army completely composed up of forest spirits (treemen,dryads,great eagles, etc.) or a mix of both.
-the warhawk riders will be standing opposed to sitting
-there will be waywatcher heroes
-Stag Riders

This is completely rumors as nothing is forsure yet, ill keep adding to this list as i get some new info :)

One thing i dont know, but i hope that they do, is make an box set for the Wood Elves. I just bought the Dark Eldar one, and its sweet. But they probably wont, looking at the fact that they dont even have one for the Hordes of Chaos, or Vampire Counts, it would seem kind of odd to have an army that not too many people play have a box set when other armies that are more popular dont.

I heard they were bringing out new special rules and equipment. I hope so as I have just finished my wood elf army and they just mashed a 2000 point bret army

No offense, but why the hell wouldn't they do that? o.O
GW has a plan to make a battallion box for all the races, so why shouldn't they make a box for a race that is about to be released? They did it for ogre kingdoms, so you can bet they will do it for wood elves aswell.

the one rumour that i can dispell for sure is that Centaurs will NOT be in the wood elves army though they will be getting a heavy cavalry option.

and i cant wait fort hem to come out either ive wanted to doa wood elf army for ages :lol: :lol: :lol:
