I just got the new white dwarf (australia) and it had an article on the legio custodes and it said that now some small detachments of custodes actually leave terra and fight on other planets as allies.

wouldnt this give a reason for them to make a custodes codex and if not atleast field a list in chapter approved. i mean woooooooooooooah something better than grey knight :lol: :lol: :lol: wooooah :D :D sure if it happens it would be cool but i cant see it happening for ages but if they did how awsome would it be>

it would be cool but the sereraos you could used them in is limited because:

A. they cant leave the golden throne

b. they have probaly never faught in ages

c. by the time GW releases a codex 4 them the emporer would have come back to live

Please..NO..The Custodes should never, ever leave Terra as long as the Emporer sits on thet throne. It would violate so much fluff. I will be indescribably pissed off if GW makes the Custodes a playable army anywhere oustide of a Heresy/pre-Heresy time frame.

As for a Codex: Custodes. I very much doubt it.

Are you talking about the Febuary WD (I assume you are, as we don't get the March one for another week or so, they do come out a few days early). Bacause I have just gone through it fairly thoroughly, and I can't find the article you are refering to.

i guess thats why it say they left the planets sometimes it was set in the horus heresy. also it said they even accompany the emperor when he retires to his private chambers ( the emperos stuck on a throne that is his chamber.) yeh that part didnt make any sense

well, they could release a set of rules for them, and some scenarios for the horus heresy setting. This means you could replay some of the battles of the heresy...that would rock, even though it would be just for fun...
