I dont quite know what is with the great delay with the Termies, and Book coming out. heh... and marneus isn't out yet XD....

Why did they even bother making that book. GW confuses me so much.

I might flick through it in the store to find a good way to paint Imperial Fists.

yeah who wants to pay like $50 (aus) for a book with paint schemes when you'll only use one

It is yet another drop in the bucket that is GW's over-saturation of Space Marines. Any excuse to get another SM book out there, I guess. If you really want to learn how to paint, you don't need a race specific book. You can garner enough info online, or, if you have the money to spend, get the "How to Paint Citadel Miniatures" book, GW's general painting guide that is not race specific. It actually is not just a money grab and covers some very useful info. Some of it is basic, but some of it I couldn't even find online.

I thought it was crap. The terrain book's much better.

I'd say the "How to Paint Citadel Minis" is so-so. A lot less useful than most sites led me to believe, but it does cover most of the basics and gives a general idea of some more advanced techniques.

how to paint citadel miniatures is a book made for beginners

If it was a "How to paint the 'eavy Metal way" book, with lots of extreme closeups and detailed info on specific techniques and colors used, I'd buy it regardless of which army it was made for.

If yo uask me its just another way to promote the marines for newbies showing how superb they are. If you want colourschemes go to the sites and scroll trough the chapters there. :S

I'm probably gonna get it, though I will flip through it first to see what it has. And hey, if they have new photos of well-painted Space Marines, then I'll get it just for those. <drool>

They don't need a book on how to paint SM. I mean com'n you can just look on their website and learn how to paint SM. Who here would actually buy that book, if you planning on please don't its a waste of money. I wonder why GW does stuff like this... (N)

Having 100 chapters in 1 book depending on how they do it can be good.

I'm getting it as soon as it comes out. I love Space Marines, love evrything about 'em. I may even get two copies. HA! But seriously I can't wait for it to come out. I'm hoping there's some good fluff bits in there somewhere.

thousands of free sites with painting techniques out there, even specifically for SM. this book is a waste of $, sry.

More to the point you paint space marines how you want to paint space marines.
Everytime a new book comes how the chapters have changes some how for example my Chrimson Fists this the colour scheme has changed a few times now
I'm sticking to good (very old) deadly nightshade and crimson gore

i don't mean to sound rude and that but i got sick of gw changing my army colours and having people ask me what my chapter is :wacko:
