i just read chaplain danags ****ty whirlwinds post and i semi agree with it because
1 yes against armies with a save of 3+, marines, chaos and the ordos whirlwinds are rubbish, the best thing you can do with them is load them with castellan and temporarily halt their advance. But if you are fighting a static army like iron warriors ur screwed recycle the cruddy tank and buy a rhino.
I disagree with him that fighting other armies with big squads and crap saves like tau kroot orks and eldar you will nail their advance with a gud few vengeance missiles

tau army save isnt crap in CC and against most wepons you have 50% chance compared with space marines chance of 66%. I am dishourned.... even though i play chaos aswell! :p
Whirlwinds arnt rubbish just read there tactica, and if there so rubbish dont use one :D
