I tried clearing cookies and deleting temporary Internet files, but I still can't make changes and get the same error message you show above.

Until today, I'd been home all summer (one of the joys of teaching) and haven't used this computer for two months. I was trying to see if I could make the changes here that I couldn't at home but am getting the same error message. I'll try deleting cookies and temp files at home, but I'm unsure if it'll work.

Edit: Have since tried clearing cookies and temp files at home PC to the same result. Error message.

I tried it, I signed out and registered with a new account.

I changed the IMG and BST settings.....no joy. Got the same error screen,

Then I would guess the problem resides on your computer. I will try find out and post back here.

Please go and do what you need to get the error message again please. When you have the error message, right click and view source, then cut and paste all the source text into this thread so I can see the actual error message.

Thanks

Then I would guess the problem resides on your computer. I will try find out and post back here.

What's odd is that it only started recently. I had my settings like I wanted them (auto-subscribing to threads I responded to, and standard editor with extra formatting controls. And then at some point, that changed, and not by my doing. When I went to reset them, I couldn't.

The problem probably resides with the "donator system" we recently uninstalled.

Blackhat has uninstalled that in favor of using the Subscriber system that we already had, and your error message does show;

mysql error: Unknown column 'showdonor' in 'field list'

That was obviously the problem, cause I'm fixed too.
