Hey all,

Did LO recently undergo a stylesheet 'upgrade'?

Explorer displayed LO pages for me wiith a dark background until recently.

Now, I get a blue gradient background which makes hyperlinks difficult to see.

Did I inadvertently change my browser settings, somehow?

If I disable site styles, I get my default dark background, again.

Any help appreciated.

The gradient background is what LO uses now. Before that we had a white background. Which hyperlinks are you talking about. None of our hyperlinks are placed on the gradient background but on the white areas of the site.

The top third of every page has the gradient.

All the thread links overlaid on this gradient look faint.

The mandatory blue edges is ruining my LO experience! <grin> The pages with the advetising at the top is usable but the side-formatted advertising just isn't working for me.

I realize the need to have the website usable by those who might have smaller monitors (i.e. 15" @ 800x600). I however have a large screen with 1600x1200 resolution and can barely stand navigating certain popular portions of the site.

Example: (cropped and resized to save bandwidth)

I am having this problem with IE 5.1.7 in Mac OS 9. If I remember correctly, I'm have the problem in Macintosh OS X (Safari) and a Windows machine (IE 6.0.2).

Hopefully it will be easy to adjust the skin settings to either reduce the blue edges or consistently have the advertising across the top, not down the side. (Hopefully both?)

Otherwise, thanks for the great site.
