How would you paint Night Lords because when I try painting them they look like poop. I want them to be clean and sleek.

This is how I painted them for a client. I based the armor in Regal Blue, then did Extreme Highlighting with enchanted Blue. (Extreme Highlighting is when you make a thin line of paint along the edges of anything you want. Example: Every thing that I painted Regal Blue had its edges lined in enchanted Blue. All of the decorative metal on their armor was painted Shining Gold and then highlighted using Burnished Gold. thier weapons were dry brushed with Boltgun Metal and then lightly dry brushed with Mithril Sliver. All of the "tassles" that hang off of their weapons and such were painted Red Gore and the highlited with Blood Red. I painted their hands Bestial Brown and highlighted with Vermin Brown. I was trying to get a "gloved" feeling. that is the basics of it for the 1000 point army I painted for him.

OK any mine are done:

Undercoat black
base coat midnight blue
highlights regal blue
wash with dark blue ink (several layers)
lightening paunted starting from regal blue, going lighter through to skull white, but leaving other layers showing
