Is it just me or has the option to edit your posts vanished?

My edit button has gone awol. I miss the little guy and his playful grin when I come in to check this place in the morning. Please return him to me, I promise to feed him on all the typos he could wish for.

Yep, mine has gone too and I saw someone else looking for theirs.

Is there a glitch in the matrix or do we have an edit button thief amongst us?

My edit button hasn't dissappeared.. yet. Has it only dissappeared from your posts in certain forums? If so, that's a Forum Setting.

I only noticed tonight, but mine is missing, even now!

But has it gone from all your posts? It's worth checking your last 10 or so, if they're in different places.

I know at least one regular chatter (Onlainari) in IRC has mentioned that he can't Edit some of his posts, so this seems to be a common thing.

If someone (Blackhat, Belial) could look into it as a matter of urgency, then I'm sure that people would be grateful.

I noticed I couldn't edit in one topic at first.

I could still edit in the forum and everywhere else. This was 3 days ago.

It was actually a gradualy spread, at one point noticing I could edit in the chaos forum but not any where else (IG, Nid, Tau, Gen off, Gen 40k forums).

So it wasn't an 'all at once' thing, and it seems that some members got to keep theirs for a little longer.

Thus, it's a bug, not a forum policy, and can be fixed.

When Blackhat gets around to it >_>.

I hope that it gets returned soon. My spelling is atrocious and I like using big words. It also hleps me focus my thoughts. Oh well, lets all pray for the safe return of our edit buttons. And mine is missing from all my posts.

Seems I've lost my edit button as well. Since I only really post in the Necron and Tyranid forums, those are the only ones I know it's missing from, and if I could edit, I could tell you wether or not it's gone from this forum too.

Yep mines the same i just posted and forgot to change the size and now i can't edit my post. However at the bottom it states that i may not edit my posts. Can some one investigate.

Guys, Whilst I dont have admin rights I do have some access, took Addoran as an example, cant see any reason in his profile etc why the edit button would be missing - mine isnt (ner ner ner ner ner). I have PM'd Blackhat and pointed him at the thread, it would be usefull if someone can give specific details; what browser are you using? what skin? which forums do you have this problem in? in advance so he has the info when he looks

Its fixed now! I accidently removed the edit function for regular users last night!
