i want to use a elf theme and here is what id use

wizads: high elf wizards

pikemen: high elf spearmen

fast cavolry: glade riders
ogres: ogre bulls
dwarfs: dwarf warriors

paymaster bodyguard: phoenix guard
halflings: glade guard using as kids
halfling hotpot????
cannon:cannon withhigh elf crew

I think you'd have a few issues with it. For one, all of the models would be using human statlines, meaning you'd have an army of wimpy, slow Elves ;) . Two, Ogres and Dwarfs should be left out as I (personally) don't really see Elves associating with them, but I suppose you could fluff up a reason. Three, the fluff itself. How would you justify this army while making it different from a regular High or Wood Elf army (unless you don't care about fluff)? The only idea I have as to how it could happen is if Asarnil the Dragonlord (Regiment of Renown character) somehow got it in his head that he wanted an army of his own and started recruiting up Elves (although I'm not sure if he can be general). Of course, you'd then have to use the big guy.

Dark Elves and High Elves in the same army just isn't going to happen - just because they're outcast sellswords doesn't mean they'd ignore 5000 years of civil war and general bloodshed...

The Asur and the Asrai might work, tho. But not Asur/Asrai and Druchii...
