I am fairly new to the wh40k game and starting slowly to begin painting my army.
i'm priming mine now, but i ran out of pimer rather fast.
So, my question is, How much can you prime with one can or primer.
I managed to prime 3 tanks and some bikes and 2 dreads.
Is this normal or did i somehow loose much capacity.( i have to prime outside and there is a weak breese present now).
I still need to prime about 60 to 80 men and would like to know how much canisters i would need for that.
Can someone help me with this?

I also had a small accident, applying a bit to much one one of the tanks. the surface is a bit uneven now. can this be fixed or not? and how then? wiping the wet primer off didn't seem a good option imo. to mask the traces of that i think it would get the same problem again.

thanks for any help, Vindy.

it depends how many coats you give a how thick the coats are. I've gone threw around 50 men a defiler a 'lith and two rhinoes and I had to use almost two primers.

i try to not overdue it, but do cover it ( with a bit mixed results). compared to your findings i would say then it's normal to use up that much then.

Yeah, that's pretty normal usage. You could probably squeeze out another squad or something if you're inside, or there's no breeze, but that's it.

My first can covered about 2 tanks, 24 Fire Warriors, 6 Pathfinders, 2 Crisis Suits and 2 Broadside Suits.
