I was planning on converting a unit or two of Manbiters for my dogs of war army and was simply wondering if anyone else used them and if so what results they gave.

As for the conversions themselves, I'll be using the baggage gnoblar from the bull sprue as my standard bearer, the bear-trap mouthed trapper as my ogrebiter and assorted gnoblars (the flail[no conversion], the sling[cut off outer rope], and other gnoblars[replace weapons with chaos marauder flails])

Any comments on the idea are welcome.

I think you might have a legality problem, the article wich contianed the gnoblar armylist wasn't a warhammer chronicles approved, more like a trial version. This doesn't stop your from doing them (I have 100+ gnoblars waiting for an official list ^_^) just make sure your opponent agrees to your use.


As for your convertions they look good, you can also get great looking flails for the beastmen bits, ask around you any players have any to trade.

I'll only be using them at my local GW so the other players should really get a kick out of versing gnoblars without the big and uglies, until I get some Orc crossbowmen :) .
