Ok so for a long time I have wanted to partake of Epic. What gives? Seems like noone plays it. You can't buy anything for it at the store and a lot of people don't even know what it is. When I first read an article about it in WD last year I was stoked. The concept is awesome, I would expect more people to play. What gives?

It's an old game, long since retired to the Specialist range. As such, you won't find it in stores, and a lot of people new to the game will have never heard of it (used to be called Space Marine). Besides, it was never as popular as 40k, just like Warmaster, the Fantasy equivalent of Epic, wasn't as popular as Fantasy. Thus, they Specialised them. Now they must be ordered online.

its got some out dated weapons
(rapiers thudd gun)
i might pick up a super heavy tank epic scale
(itll be like buying a toy car while wnating a real one but not being able to afford it)
