Ogre Characters

I Just had A thought, Would I be able to use Ogre Characters in a DOW army (apart from the Hunter of course) :)

Beacause I think I may either use a Bruiser or a Tyrant (When I can) as the Genreral and a Human as the Paymaster :)

Sorry, ogre caracters aren't DoW. this would help the DoW list though.

you wouldnt be able to use an ogre character or hero choice thats true, but i think thatd be a cool conversion for a merc captain/general since they have pretty much the same strength and toughness as an ogre, ( i use the maneater with anchor, i have a pirate themed DoW army) anyway, good luck!

Why not use a Maneater for such an Ogre? It sure has the stats to back it up :P

Actually in Border Patrol Maneaters are allowed to be used as generals in OK. Why not agree with your opponent that this rule also applies to DoW? Your general can be a special choice Maneater, fill out your Cores and Hero with the Paymaster (Ogre's Partner?) and some ranged units, and then grab three units of Ogres.

'Course, this only works in 500 Points Border Patrol, so you'd better get House Rulin.

Oh, and no way should Bruisers be allowed in DoW. If you want that GW might as well have just revised DoW.

But then again Golfag was a Bruiser.

Or even Better Do a D.O.W and put the fluff around a paymaster paid Golfag a Vist so its a Sort of DOW army but you get the Ogre Core choices and a Tyrant and such, Also sticking the DOW lists of units :)

if you want ogres as core and heroes than why don't u jus collect a ok army and take dow as special or rare as the case may be.

that's why I want ogres characters and core in a DOW army because I am Already an OK player, want to sort of merge my empire and OK stuff to make a DOW army :D
