Howdy guys,
I'm thinking about starting up a dogs of war army, but I don't really understand howt hey work. I have the Codex taht GW provides on their website, but it doesn't say anything about regiments of reknown, just simple basic troops. Where can I find the rules and stuff for regiments of reknown, and how should I go about making a DOW army?

Essentially, independent Dogs of War Armies work like any other: You choose your troops and characters from the basic list, and may hire Regiments of Renown As indicated by their entries. They will usually occupy a "lower" slot in a DoW army than in an Empire army, for example. Also, some RoR are limited to Dogs of War armies only.

Dogs of War armies use the basic Dogs Of War list, and "hire" Regiments of Reknown, just like any other army. However, they often get to hire Rare Regiments as Special, etc.

Regiments of Reknown are in that link, but there's also a Dark Elf Regiment called Mengil Mahide's Manflayers, who are essentially Super Shades.
