This isn't an advertisement, this is a devertisement.

Don't bother with www.WarhammerDirect.com , they just mess you out of money. For an example, I've had an order there since April 6th and it's STILL pending. I cancelled my order last night, hoping they'll give me my money back. I'm kind of nervous about -that- too. I've been reading reviews and stuff(Something from Warseer) and one guy said he cancelled his order, they continued with the charge to his account, and then shipped him the order.

I hope they don't do that with me. I've lost all interest in their company and refuse to do any business after this with them. If they do send me my stuff after I cancelled, I'll send it right back, make them pay for the shipping, and get my money back...

Anyway.

Here's the topic on Warseer (http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35510)
Here's a few reviews(One from me...) on reselerating.com (http://www.reselerating.com/seller10584.html)

Not advertisements for any other board/site, just a source in case anyone wants to see what other people think.

We apologize for the delay in shipping your order to you. We hope
to
have it out to you within the week.

That was the response I got to the following E-mail.

Hello,

I would like to know what is the hold up on my order?!? I placed my
order, as you can see 4/6/06

WARHAMMERDIRECT.COM
------------------------------------------------------
Order Number: *******
Detailed Invoice:

****
Date Ordered: Thursday 06 April, 2006
****

Products
------------------------------------------------------
******
******

As you can see the order was made, and on the very next day it was
deducted from my account. I no longer am interested in receiving this
merchadise. I would like for you to credit the $102.10 back into my
account right away.

I thank you for handling my request in a prompt manner,

I am no longer interested in the order, I'm just trying to get my money back and they're trying to keep it. That's funny.

I sent them another E-mail, saying basically the same thing I said above.

evil? i am thinking that GMZ was just trying to say that they're return policy is a bit lax. wait, are they evil?

They may be. I got that last E-mail at 12:00 my time and sent an E-mail back saying I would like to just get my money credited to my account.

They haven't responded and the order hasn't been deleted or anything yet.

They like my money and will probably ignore me until I sue them.

I've already sent something to the BBB and hopefully they'll check it out.

You should see if they have a number you can reach them at personally, I find making a phone call can clear things up. Thanks for the disadvertisement.

They don't have a telephone contact. That's already a bad sign...

Andrew-

P.S. - The E-mail I sent hasn't been responded to, they did for someone on Warseer though.

Had a bad experience with these yokels myself.

Ordered a metric crapload of primers and other stuff, 4 months later and still no product. When I emailed them I basically just got the standard run around. Finally cancelled the order and had to contact my credit card company with a dispute to get my money back.

Take GMZ's advice and avoid these guys like they're plaguebearers.

i would be very wary of any company who charges you whilst your items are still on back order If the company i work for does not have an item in stock we do not charge for any of the order until that item is in stock and can be sent (Amazon also does this ) good luck GMZ and thanks for the warning

I agree. Without a phone contact where you can make live communications in case of complications, it's usually a bad idea to give people your money.

I'd call your bank and see what they can do to help you put a stop payment on the invoice or to get your money back.

Well, they cancelled my order. Now I'm just waiting for them to put the money back into my account.

We'll see what happens.

Y'know, you might consider reporting them to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) if they take more than a day.

Hell, I'd already have reported them.

I did that yesterday Mobius. They'll be investigated soon I hope.

You should see there little thing on the BBB though, it's interesting. When the Atlanta branch tries to contact them, they don't return anything...

They've got quite a few complaints too...

Andrew-

I take it you used a credit card? If so you should be able to have your card company reverse the transaction (though it might be a bit late to do so), any extra costs for that usually come from the business that took the money.
