Yeah I saw this at Games Day UK. It was great then, it is still great now. And I agree the funniest part was the orc going splat. What was even funnier was the size of the pile of other orcs that it feel onto after sliding down the wall :D .
My favourite part though was the warrior priest fighting the chaos champion, that was just plain awesome.

i agree, awesome movie.....i love the dwarf. I especially love the chaos Knight. Hes all like

A Tzeentch Lord is attacking the Empire so the Chaos-army will be Tzeentchian.

I downloaded the gameplay footage. This thing looks like crap compared to WoW.

WHy do you think so? Remember, this is supposed to be released late 2007, so there's a lot more to be done.

The gameplay-vid is early aplpha testing, ie. the very first playable (playable is really stressing it though...) version of the game.

Don't base your opinion on a single video of in-game footage when there's another year of production ahead.

The game looks like all kinds of awesome, but I probably won't play it... I've been down the road of "online RPG takes up way too much of my life" before.

My personality is just too addictive and I'd be too worried about wasting *another* year of my life. Warhammer has never been under the same category though - it's a lot more social :)

And you don't need to drop WoW. Play what you enjoy. If it is WoW then play it. I doubt WAR can really compete with it anyways.

I think the game is well thought out but lacks one major thing. The graphics look mostly like WoW, similar style of design.

Unless they up their game and release a game which looks good its useless if it just plays great. It's nearly 2007 and we still have games with GFX like WoW, imho it shows how lazy a developer really is. With current technology GFX should be at a much higher standard. Lineage II which is god knows how old now always had, and still has (despite the fact there have been no gfx updates) better GFX than WoW and quite a great deal of other MMORPG's.

I'm hoping that the final product will have nice and crisp GFX and in general look great. It has heaps of potential, and i will definately give it a whirl...but if it looks anything remotely close to as crap as WoW, i'm not going to bother wasting a perfectly capable GFX card and HDD space on it.

Looks owesome, definatley worth waiting for, gotta play as empire that priest versus the stupid chaos guy was awesome.

plus I hate WOW I think it sucks and this game will be ten times betterer lol (thats what I think)

I suppose we will have to wait and see what happens. I imagine that this game can only get even better as time goes on and even more stuff gets added, though a lot of WOW players will turn their noses up at at first I believe that they will be brought round very quickly. :shifty:
