Well,
about a week ago, i heard that GW or someone important made an alternate thing to represent the actual smurfs... it has been driving me crazy trying to find these rules or even if they exist or not.
If anyone can lead me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated

I think you might be thinking of Movie Space Marine Rules.
They originally came out in a White Dwarf near the end of 2005 I think. I'll try and find it and see if I can give you a number. Try searching the net for the above-said name.
Each space marine was a weapon in his own right with more wounds, inv saves, etc. bolters were hard core with things like 6 shots and rending, etc. You get the idea.
Oh, and I'm not sure that this should be in the Rumors & Previews section. Maybe a Mod could move it?

It was in White Dwarf 300 I believe. The German GW site has the rules for it as well, but you need to be able to read German.

It is the WD 300, anniversary issue. They are called Movie Marines, and I recently started working on models for this.
***These are not official army rules*** It even has that written in big red letters across the first page of the article. It's meant to be for fun game with friends etc.
Basically it's a 2000 point army built from a single 10 man tactical marine box, and one rhino or razorback.
Each model is it's own seperate unit, they are tough as heck, saves up the whaazzuu, crazy weapons like 48" bolters that rend. Fun stuff. I want to play my friends Ork army with them. Should be a fun game. :)
Other then that, I have not heard anything at all.

Yea you can probably get the issue off of ebay. I have bought a single issue from there before. Might even find the rules online someplace.
