yep, there trying to bankrupt me as well, its just that the models are so darn cool! Why couldnt they have made These instead of the Vostyroans? Well, looks like ill be counting the pennies in the rainy day jar again......

I`m waiting for there Vanquisher Conversion kit, but I ain`t buying anymore of there damn infantry, the things will not stick together, I hate them I really do, look great but damn why won`t they just go together WHY?.

humm... cause they are made of resin and you are using low-quality glue ? use GW glue or crazy glue, it should work, i have a friend who glued some with GW glue, so it should be ok.

Its not the glue its the fact that when you do finally get them to stick there are huge gaps between the hand on rifle and left arm, and mine all had there lasgun barrels either broken off or in the process of (since they came in a nice safe bag, much safer than say.....A BOX) then there is the fact you can`t seem to make the stupid Sergeants left arm fit at all.

I hate these models, £40+ Wasted on shoddy work

Plus I can`t afford GW glue that stuff costs more than a small country, overpriced or what.

Resin can be imprecise.. you may have to file away a bit. It's the case with most forgeworld models, but keep working at it and you'll get there.

Gaps can be filled with a little greenstuff.. use a wet sculpting tool to press it in and then scrape away any leftovers after glueing.

Haha.. are those nuclear powered Leman Russ? That made my day. :)

Damn it all I`ll just do an armoured company, its quicker and I enjoy painting tanks, its like a hobby to me lol

REALLY WOW now I`m excited, I`ve only seen two variants, that means there gonna make a Vanquisher right, I hope so I love that tank, ohhhh I CAN`T WAIT

What are semi-circle things on back of LR?

If you mean the ones on the FW Leman Russ they might have something to do with trenches, probably to help them get out of them since it`s not very long, in reality it might get it`s rear end stuck without them, that would be my assumption.

As Alan mentioned in the last issue of the newsletter, we are putting the finishing touches to a range of Death Korps Leman Russ tanks. Today, we can take a much closer look at two of these forthcoming models.
The venerable Leman Russ is used by the Imperial Guard in many variants, some forge world patterns subtly different, others dramatically so.
The armoured forces fielded by the Death Korps of Krieg do use the Phaeton pattern Leman Russ, as seen in service with many Imperial Guard regiments, but usually only after modification. Have a look for yourself here. The new components here are mostly the result of work by Daren Parrwood, with additional work by Simon Egan and Will Hayes. The most obvious differences are towards the rear of the tank, with two large trench rails extending out the back. These help the massive vehicle cross trenches and ditches without falling in. The rear deck of the modified Phaeton pattern Leman Russ is covered with filters, air-scrubbers and a new exhaust system, all designed to help the engine keep running in the foul atmospheres that the Death Korps commonly fight in. On the main turret there is a new cupola, the Krieg eschewing the more commonly fitted storm bolter in favour of a pintle mounted heavy stubber with its longer range. A particular favourite of mine is the rather nice new Death Korps tank commander which can be assembled either operating the heavy stubber or using a pair of binoculars. Further forward on the tank there is a new hull mount with either a heavy bolter as shown or lascannon. One thing I really like is that you can assemble the hull mounted gun with varying degrees of elevation. It makes the model that little bit more `real` and believable to me.

Man Death Korp of Krieg is so cool...curse you FW and your huge prices :cry: . Though the tanks do look nice I deffinatly cannot wait to see the new death riders those should be awsome (hopefully though with what they have now I shouldn't have to worry too much :yes: ).
