The Space Wolves being my first army, i'm wondering if they'll ever be redone and seeing the new Dark Angel stuff makes me want new wolf stuff even more. So, does anyone know anything?

I don't know anything really at all.But it just depends on how long from it was made till now.If the dark angels are getting redone,quite possibly the space wolves will get redone.But don't take my word on it,there is still quite alot of oter army codexs going to be redone(like orks for example).

I think the sons of Russ needed a new codex more than the DA. The DA are so similar to a codex chapter, anyway, that all they really needed was a Chapter Approved or something of the like. The SW are more of a departure from Guilliman's goody-two-shoes vision, and I think they were screwed when they didn't get Rites of Battle for the Wolf Lord and Litanies of Hate for the Chaplain.

Its been said a million times, but that's my two cents on the issue. I haven't heard any rumors on it, but you can bet it will be a popular topic once anything is made aware to even one of us!

I might even have to polish my own frost blade, should the 'Wolves be given their due. Otherwise, I'll see you at the Wolf time!

Word to that! Perhaps GW staying their hand on the 'Wolves is just to buy me time to create other pursuits... Then I can give the Sons of Russ their due when the time comes to focus upon them wholly. RUSS!

:shifty: I disagree on that the SW needed a update more then the DA. Really since 4th ed the only special thing for the DA is they are stubborn and really thats about it. With the new traits and such ravenwing was inferior and really the deathwing isn't exactly to special and really the only thing you could use uniquely for the DA codex (I think not sure if there is a trait that allows you to take terminators as troops...SM isn't my first army choice more like last if anything).

While SW still have a lot of uniqueness and still decent working special rules while DA lost most of theirs with 4th ed (such as taking mutiple plasma cannons now everyone can). Sure SW could use but IMO they are the last chapter that needs the update right after the BA. Though I'm pretty sure none of you really want to hear that :ninja: .

I heard that the wolfie's codex will be out around 2008. It might take a while, but when it does, im sure we'll be in for a treat :w00t:

Both the BA and SW need the new codex. I grudgingly agree with the thoughts on the DA above. GW should have done a new codex with DA, SW, BA, BT all represented. Shouldn't be too difficult, since all they did was modify the existing SM codex for the BT. :shifty: That was cheap, but oh well (I like it, anyway:lol: ). It wouldn't take much to reproduce the same effect with the other deserving chapters.

But GW does have to make money (as if they don't, already). Oh well. I will patiently bide my time and work on other endeavors. If SW comes out first, I'll do them. If the BA do, then likewise. I like them both just as much. :yes:

The local gaming store owner said that the Space Wolves dex should be coming out mid to late 2007 and the Blood Angels is going to be published in a White Dwarf so it's going to be a chapter approved thing and that should be coming out between Jan-April of 2007. These are just a bunch of rumors and he's never been wrong. But hey..........ya never know.

I don't know about the Blood Angels being chapter approved. We all know that White Dwarf no longer prints rules so a Blood Angel article in White Dwarf seems unlikly.

I'll give you that. Dark Eldar definitely need a new codex. Even deserve one. The Orks need one too, but only to dispense with those silly choppaz that cleave through ancient terminator armor like it was nothing. :shifty: Just kidding. They need some love too. Space Marines already get all kinds of focus and the other races need some promotion and attention, too. As much as I care for my beloved marines, I'm tired of the game store being filled with ten year old SM players.

BA will not become a CA armylist, it has to much support for it, also it has been mentinowed numerous times by main devellopers from GW they would make a codex for each of the remaining great chapters.

I love the wolves, but because they are so nordic and stoic in their ways..they really (fluff wise) wouldn't NEED a new codex for a loooooong looong time..

maybe a few new models here and there..but a new codex for a group of warriors that are stuck in the past? doesn't make much sense..

I say orc need the next codec.....I'm seeing less and less orc players around here, that and I like reading about them..
