I was wondering how Kroot fair in CC against specialists like LatD (mutants), Dark Eldar, WE (besekers), and genestealer heavy nids?
If so: how?

I'd say stand and shoot. As much as possible.
The whole army has 24" rapid fire guns, so they can dole out a good dose of firepower when needed and as there are LOTS of them, the shots fired wil be masses.
Considering my theoretical 1500pts army, consisting of roughlty 75+ kroot, thats 75 24" shots (out of assault range) or 150 12" shots (though you will get assaulted on the following turn), which should approximately do the trick.
Obviously this is no sure path to victory, but nevertheless it is an option.

Kroot can do the same thing most cc armies do against such monsters as genestealers, MCs, and the like. Get the drop on them and overwhelm them with numbers. Each individual kroot is ok (WS4 S4 2A normally, not too shabby) and a lot can cause some damage.
Against 'stealers and lightly armored things, I'd go with shooting, picking them off with snipers or massed kroot rifle fire. Failing that, sit in cover and go first.
Against more heavily armored gribblies, Shapers work wonders. 3-4 eviscerator attacks will spell doom for most nasties like MCs and heavily armored foes.
Just make sure you pick your battles or you will get squished by those cc specialists.
