Sorry sure this has been done but I've got really confused trying to work this out from the threads. What is the next Fantasy army High Elves or Vampire Counts????
For the love of Nagash pleez dont tell me its the poncing elves, that would be a joke! Vampire counts are sooooo in need of an update, it just isnt funny! Fantastic army, some truly rubbishy models. I was holding out starting a new army thinking they would be out later in the year.

According the the most recent rumours, the High Elves will recive their new book before the Vampire Counts.

That is what I have heard, High Elves, Vampire Counts and then Skaven. I think HE coming first is fair enough. VC may need an update but they are a competitive and varied army as they are, whereas HE's are just not good enough, the only way to make a really competitive army is for losts of cavelry as their heavy infantry is too many points and too fragile.

Vampire Count are pushed to next year if i remember good, because of this summer campaign no army will get a book, and high elves will be at the end of the year, then they will make VC(almost at the same time as the empire this year), the good news is that every army will have a new hero this summer because of the campaign.

The Vc were supposed to be next, but because the guy who make VC is the same guy who make Chaos for 40k, he prefer doing chaos first.

As a long time undead (unified, VC and TK) player, I hope they bring back OLD nagash with a new model... i have the big old awesome one. I will tell you that I'd love to see an update, but not one that makes the army unweildy or crappy. For example, Id love to see an undead levy something that looks like the peasants in the bretonnians but with skellification or zombification

You mean exactly what von carstien lists (using the storm of chaos sylvania list) can have?

yes but a boxed set of them, maybe with some old mirmillo helmets, or those castellan helmets the conquistadors wore, crappier looking weapons, maybe a shamble in their step?

Well i was chatting to a very well known game designer from GW, and they kind of let slip that wights are going to be a unit in the new VC army book, apart from that he said stuff is still gonna be the same, except for a few new models.
