This might not be news (nor rumour) to everyone but I couldn't see it mentioned anywhere-

The Brettonian Pegasus Knight is being re-packaged and so are Dark Eldar Wyches. This isn't super important as far as releases goes but there will be a significant price change for the Knights. The package change is from 3 Knights to 1, with the box price dropping to just under half. If you want Pegasus Knights- now's the time to get them! This will also affect the Battalion- dropping to 1 Pegasus Knight with no other content or price change.

Sorry it's not good or exciting news, guys and girls but it might still be handy for someone out there.

In fact with a wych repackage all I would need to do to buy the extra 500 pts off the shelf would be to convert some dark lances in blasters.

Yes, I'd seen that about the Pegasus knights elsewhere, and I have to say it is a bit sneaky...sort of hoping that people won't notice that the price has gone up if the amount in the box have changed, but I'm trying to resist ranting about it.

Personally I had seen that the Bretonnian Batallion was getting an extra four men at arms instead of the two Pegasus Knights, but I can't remember who that came from. Even if that is true it will still be a worse deal than it was before. I'm probably wrong anyway...

This could well be true. I might not have been so diligent in counting M@A as I could have been.

I also heard the supposed date for this change is April 4th.

Well I'm signed up for the Canadian GW newsletter, and they had the Wyches in there along with on the Online Store:

Now is it just me, or do some of those Wyches look completely new? I'm not too familiar with DE, but my friend plays them and I don't believe he has some of those wyches, and he has quite a few of them.

I think it's just you, old bean. The only one I'm not 100% on is the one on the top left and if that's not a Fitzpatrick sculpt then someone's done a very nice imitation.


Regards the Men at Arms- the release info says 16 in the new battalion but the picture has 20. Who knows?

The info I have puts the re-release at late April. I'd think the older (cheaper) box sets will be gone by then so you might want to move fast if you want to pick up one of the older boxes.

There also appears to be a Guardian/Heavy Weapon re-package about the same time.

Also appears some of the Harlequin blisters will be limited runs- the ones that are included in the box, by the look.
