I've got a look at a Harle poster at my local GW, you'll be relived to know that there will be a box set with six harlequins, two with harle kisses (IIRC) and two with fusion pistols, the Shadowseer and Death Jester will be in sperate blisters.
Meanwhile the new paintset will be 30 pounds with 18 paints and out around the time the Harles emerge from the webway. :)

Hmmm, I was really hoping that they'd release more of the standard harlequins in blisters so I can get the harlequins kiss models.

Oh well, at least I can customise with the troupe leader, death jester and shadowseer blister...

I don't think it would be that hard to convert Harlie Kissess anyways. I'm still amazed they actually made the Harlequins...

so there making a bos of 6 or something, meaning that obviously gw have made them balanced again, hurrah dancing death is back! what do you reckon? just a choice in an eldar army or a whole army of their own like old times? if thats the case i can revive my harlequin troupe and have some serious fun. *does interpretive dance showing happiness and joy*

What? The harlequins released are for the eldar codex which came out quite some time ago, which has harlequins in it. They're just a unit in the eldar codex, and don't get your hopes up, they're nothing like old times, now they're a steamroller unit like genestealers. GW and their mainstreaming meddling.... I preferred them when they had funky unique special rules. As for balanced... well... that's currently under debate, head to the eldar forum. I don't think that anyone will contest that they are a brilliant, brilliant super unit of doom, but I think you'll find a lot of people saying that they're overpowered and a lot of people flatly denying it.

That said, you CAN attempt to make a whole army out of them, using the eldar codex, it just requires a bit of an imagination.

HQ: Jain Zar or Asurmen - Great Harlequin.
HQ: Jain Zar or Prince Yriel - Solitiaire (I know he was an elites choice before)

Elites: Harlequins squad (includes DJ's and shadowseers)
Elites: Ditto.
Elites: Ditto.

Troops: Storm guardians with warlock with enhance - Harlequin initiates (enhance just represents their own skill, not a psychic power.
Troops: Rangers/pathfinders jumping on the harlequin band, this is supposed to be common.
Troops: Some more of either or both.

Fast attack: Vyper - Venom with an extra DJ sitting on the panels or something.
Fast attack: Shining Spears - Harlequin Jetbikes.

Heavy Support - Wraithlord - Spiritwalker.
and if you *really* wanted to push it:
Heavy support - dark reapers with exarch - deathjester initiates with DJ master.

You mean like the wraithlord with the harlequin jetbike canopy as it's face? Those conversions?
Anyway, there is a decent chance that GW will release a new harlequins army list but don't expect it to be nearly is interesting as the old one, don't expect heaps of unique special rules and equipment, right now harlequins play a lot like genestealers so a whole army of them wouldn't be very interesting to play with or against, and wouldn't involve any sort of tactical input.

I really don't think that Harlequins are that overpowered, as long as you counter them right.

They die fairly quickly if they get hit with anything :)

I can't wait for the models to arrive. My army has been patiently waiting around the Webway Portal for them to arrive and start dancing...
