Now I know everyone is paranoid about being sued by GW but hear me out.

I would like to ask if we change LO's rules so that we can post anything that is available on GW sites. Mainly the summary sheets. I know some things (like example army lists giving points costs) can be left out but if it's on the free, online summary can we please post it? things like statlines and a brief summary of what each thing does.

I fail to see how we can possibly get into trouble for that. It's just frustrating having to go and look it up then provide a link every time. Surely if GW WANTS you to see it for free we can post it?

Copying whole codicies can be locked/deleted/banned but just in a casual conversation it would be nice to not have to hide something obvious like an ork has Strength X.

Not going to happen. Sorry.

Here's why - GW doesn't just want the information to be free, but they want you to go to their site to get it. When you go to their site, it increases their traffic, makes you look at their advertisers, new deals, new articles, etc. Webmasters see increased traffic, passes it along to their bosses, who see the website is doing okay, and continues to fund it.

You see what happened to the GW forums, right? They recieved too much competition, and the 'uppity-ups' didn't see a reason to continue them.

The bottom line is that it's GW's information to do what with they please. They can post it on their website because it's their information - but who are we to say that they are okay with us reproducing it in other places?

You can still write a stat in basic conversation, for example this is okay.

With multiple strength 4 attacks each, saurus warriors can be among the nastiest infantry in the game
