Just noticed these today, the models look pretty good, not too much of a change, but its good to see GW is making New DE models. and a full squad for $35 USD, thats not a bad deal either.

Those mostly look like the old models, just repackaged into a box of ten, rather than as blisters or a box of five, perhaps just to clear out the old stock before DE are redone in a few years.

They're just repackaging all the old blisters into boxed sets now. They did it with all the Eldar aspect warriors, even the ones that weren't getting new models. They've done it with a few fantasy models too, and Dwarfs are currently getting it done. My local GW has no stock of Hammerer or Slayer blisters as they are being rereleased in a box soon.

Duh - They always kick my butt in CC but I would love to see some new stuff for the DE players out there, especially after all those speculations about GW cutting back on DE in so many ways...

I think we're stuck with the same old transvestites, /ummm wyches as before.

I look at it, it's wonderful you get 2 shardnet and impaler wyches
2 will hydraknives...oh wait those are the old wych weapons.{goofy} Oh well hopeful the hobby store that I buy from will ge a few boxs saves money one buying the blisters.

Does it really matter if the wyches are from old blister packs or not as long as GW are finally payng some attention to DE. Hopefully they'll do it with Incubi, Grotesques and Mandraks. A Hellion unit box set would be cool too.

Hellions are useless, it's been discussed in the dark eldar forum, there isn't a single thing they can do that another dark eldar unit can't do far better or at least far better value. Grotes and mandrakes may not be worth their points but they are still really fun and unique units that have clear uses in certain situations, even scourges have *some* uses. Besides this, mandrakes are some of the worst models ever sculpted...

They can look dman cool while getting shot and/or beat up in close combat.

They can rapid fire their weapons and then LOOK like they are about to charge after moving 12". Raider squads don't look like they are going to charge.

They can.... deepstrike with splinter rifles! Cheapest way to deepstrike vanilla rifles in the force (yeah I know they pretend they aren't splinter rifles, but they are).

They can get a 5++ save, but only when they really really don't need it.

They can act as a body guard for the worst type of lord out there the sky board lord! Thats right, no incubus or reaver will hang out with one of these wierdos, the hellions fit right in.
