A friend refered me to this site to look at some pretty miniatures, and it gave me some ideas of my own, so I went ahead and registered. However, I didn't have anything to say at the time, so I didn't post anything.
Sometime thereafter, and then repeating every few days, I was getting the following email:
"Hello, khime!
We've noticed that you've not been active on Librarium Online for quite some time now, and we miss you!
Could we not tempt you back?" etc, etc.
I eventually went to the Introduction forum on 4/8 and posted a hello, and it seemed to stop it, but exactly one week later, I got another request to 'return'!
Worse, at the top of every forum screen I see the following:
"Hello khime,
Our records indicate that you have never posted to our site before! Why not make your first post today by saying hello to our community in our Introductions forum (http://www.librarium-online.com/forums/$vboptions[bburl]/forumdisplay.php?f=40).
Why not start with your first post today and become an active part Librarium Online forums now!"
Your records are wrong; I have posted to your site before, and now I'm doing it again. I also don't need to be reminded to come here every week. :)
I've set myself to not receive messages from the Admins, so hopefully that (and/or this email) will stop if. Unfortunately, if some sort of real announcement happens, it'll not be heard by me due to the site 'crying wolf' once too often.
