It's meant to be Gotrek, Bugman and the White Dwarf (on top). I'm not entirely convinced but, it's not bad. The dwarf range has had some, much deserved, loving and have some cracking models. These, not sure on just yet. But I might well buy one simply because, well... it's dwarves. mind you I love Elves nowerdays, I think I may have been a hairdresser in a previous life
KU Tsele April 19th, 2007, 17:52 WOW... when GW wants makes awesome models... I think I will lay my hands in one of those even if I'm not in Fantasy! chemicalcaveman April 19th, 2007, 19:25 Well I have to say yuech! Its not the sculpting which is fine, it just the theme for the piece overall really sucks to me. Gotrek and bugman holding the white dwarf on a shield?
I think they could have come up with something alot better to be honest. King Ulrik Flamebeard April 19th, 2007, 20:21 Quick browse of the UK site and I found this:

It's also happening in the US apparently, but seems like an interesting idea. I hope to hope in a grab the mini, as I'm beginning to like it. The White Dwarf rocks =D
KU Caduceus April 19th, 2007, 20:50 Looking forward to these events! slorak April 19th, 2007, 21:08 I will have to check with my local GW store and see about getting one of these. I hope it isn't only through renewing the white dwarf subscription - I just recently renewed! :(
I agree that the subject isn't for the best game wise - but it is a very nice sculpt and should be fun to paint.
Cheers,

From what I can tell it isn't. Or at least I hope not, for I have no intentions of getting a new subscription. Not even for this miniature. And on that note, I don't think it is aimed at being a gaming piece but more just a fun sculpt to celebrate their thirtieth year. I think it's along the lines of the Bugman available only at Bugman's Bar in Lenton. Fun piece, can be made playable but probably not made with that specifically in mind.
KU slorak April 19th, 2007, 21:27 True enough. Let's hope it doesn't have a nice and high collectable price to go with it! ;) LOL
Cheers,
-Mike King Ulrik Flamebeard April 19th, 2007, 21:29 Well, it is GW and their true trademark dwarf.. shall we take bets? The winner with the biggest pot can go buy one. -__^
KU slorak April 19th, 2007, 21:38 My guess is $15. Something deep within is trying to say $20 but I won't let it!:w00t:

Ignorance is bliss eh? -__^ I expect somewhere between £8 and £10 for the UK, perhaps stretching to £12. I hope it's not too bad. I'd love one of my own, and I have heard it's only one per customer. But the gold plated one seems interesting. But not much to paint there. =P =D
