Sword is a blending up from ultramarines blue to enchanted to pure white - have found stippling
the lighter shades over the darker to create a nice "energy" pattern

Its a pretty good paint job and the sword looks outstanding. I think face could use some more work.

well when i do flesh, I start with a dark base color, usually a brown. then i layer on dwarf flesh, followed by a lighter flesh color. then i do a watered down flesh wash followed by a wattered down red wash and then layer on another layer of the lighter flesh color. Unfortunately I don't have any Pictures to show you as an example.

almost done, just waiting for the greenstuff on his base to dry and harden before i glue him to that :)

He looks very good, especially the base and the sword, the face looks alot better now than it did in the first shots. Good job overall!:happy:

Good job so far on the cape. Its hard to get nice clean lines when doing stuff like that.

ive been inactive on the hobby front fora little while, but im debating putting a couple of WIP shots of my old school chaos lord up :) especially since i had to nick 2 imperial lightning claws from the clubs DA player XD.

sterns base is actually greenstuffed but thanks for the comments guys :)
