Could we ("we" like in you) not create a General Complains subforum? It could be used for various whining and complaining on the hobby most of us love. Things like "Price increase again!" , "Death to rending" and "Hate the new things" could be posted there instead of having them all over the place...

We don't want to start flamewars that are so abundant on Warseer, right?

I think the plan would backfire, in all honesty. Give people a place dedicated to such topics, and more and more will come out of it. After all, kinda hard to frown on topics like that if you make a dedicated forum for them...

I guess you're right. Never took the thought quite that far. You might lock this.

We had one on TLA. It proved very popular (surprisingly) but it was very negative. In the end, Mith(the Admin) got rid of it.

Myself, I have no problem with moaning as long as it's constructive and sued sparigly.

This type of issue is and has been discussed by the moderator team.

There are merits and disadvantages. If we feel that the merits outweigh the disadvantages, then it'll take place.

But, as Black Hat said, thanks for your ideas, and keep 'em coming.

It's a tempting idea, especially with the recent up-turn in bleating in some posts (I'm pointing no fingers). Sadly if we put them all in one place they'd feed off each other and fester and grow until they devoured the whole internet. Stink. I think the current policy of trying to keep most threads whine free is working ok, although I've been pushed ever closer to using the neg-rep button for the first time ever.

I agree with this assessment, it would give license to more complaining. Not very constructive conversation.
