Hey all, I've just stumbled across this site through connections on our own website, and I've got to say Im really impressed.
Some of the drawings on here are really something, Im especially impressed by Mike the guardsman.
I like the style, and I may have to go to some lengths to learn it.
Just a quick introduction to me, I'm a student, 17 and from the Uk and currently contributing to the C&C Generals : Only War modification by providing concept art and other artwork. In case you don't know what this is, it's a total conversiopn for C&C generals, based in the 40k universe.
Check out our site at http://www.planetcnc.com/onlywar
Ok, heres the picture I hyped up in the subject line.
I really apologise for the line work, Its shoddy and done with a ballpoint pen (not a biro though)
Some very nice work there. Do you guys get permission from GW to actually make that mod?

Intriguing, Invader Zim! There is some nice work there. When it is finished, how will you sell/make it available?
Ryan Dancey, Vice President of Wizards of the Coast, believed that TSR failed because of "...a near total inability to listen to its customers, hear what they were saying, and make changes to make those customers happy." Are you listening, Games Workshop ?
Nice drawing! A faithful SM rendition, well done.
I don't want to be rude, but why would you need a concept artist when there is so much official artwork to work from? The only case would be if you're making something entirely new based on the existing concepts, but judging from this you're just recreating the "same old" 40K...
Not to suggest that's a bad thing. The mod looks really kickass, very thorough and true to the original designs. I wish I had a computer that could run a game made after, oh, 1998... then I could play them and stuff.
Thanks for the compliments guys.
I guess I'll answer your questions quickly now, but expect to hear more from us later.
Caveman - Yes, subject to continuous evaluation.
HardAun - It will be free and available to the internet-using public. But don't hold your breath for it is sound advice.
Mead - Have you ever seen a Space marine structure that can be deployed on planet from orbit, or that isn't Notre dame cathedral with shiny new Lance batterys?
Heh, I'm kidding. As you can expect, there is no shortage of well defined units for the game, its just a matter of building round it.
Like I said, hopefully you'll see more of our mod team in the future.
