i was thinking of making this story about a hitman. and as it turns out, he dies. anyway, hes doing a normal job, in a normal place, at a normal time, but something goes wrong (cant tell you yet), and he dies. then he goes to hell. in hell, the devil challenges him to a game (of death, and such) and the hitman wins. the hitman goes back to earth, but now hes got all these crazy ass powers. and he wants to get revenge on the guy that killed him. but, the hitman spent a lot longer then he thought he did in hell, and when he comes out, the world is all futuristic and spiffy. so since hes not familiar with it, hes at a disadvantage, which makes up for his new powers. and he tracks the guy down, but the guy has assembled a helluva lotta money (hes like some top ranking gangster) and has bought lotsa new futuristic weapons and *****. the guy that killed the hitman is now a terrorist, and he has taken over a large oil rig in the middle of the ocean, isolated, with lots of hostages and a new, really, really powerful nuke. hes demanding all sorts of *****, and the hitman turns out to be a hero in the end, cuz he saves all these hostages and people. is it a cool idea or not, any opinions would be appreciated.
It is a very very cool idea. *BUT* its already been done i am afraid.
Ever heard of spawn, that is basically exactely the same plot (except for the oilrig)
By all means write it but you should come to expect some critism claiming you ripped off the whole idea of spawn. Just a friendly warning.
To tell you the truth its hard to be original these days as everything seems to have been done before.
<span style='color:red'>"Right lads, lets make a tactical advance to the rear of our posistion"
"Errr do you mean run away?"
"Thats the one"</span>
"Oh man, look at that."
"Over there, by that river of boiling souls."
"Well I'll be damned... it's a Starbucks."

yeah. . . Spawn is the man. However, Dante from Devil May Cry is still the most badass character i think.
"And whoever wants to be a creator in good and evil, must first be an annihilator and break values. Thus the highest evil belongs to the greatest goodness: but this is--being creative."
~ Friedrich Nietzsche ~
Aww. Stupid Spawn. im going to have to go back in time and kill the writer of that comic. man, i knew this idea was too good to be true. was the whole thing set in the future? cuz if so, then i just can't carry on with this story. if not, i could give it a try, and then see what people say about it.
Man spawn would take dante apart..
Station:in all the world of the drow there is no more important word.It is the calling of their-of our-religion,.ambition overrides good sense and compassion is thrown away in its face, all in the name of the spider queen.
