    Picture this...

You get a phone call from GW, and your sleepyness is shook from you by their words...

"Congratulations, you have won a once in a lifetime prize. For this month and this month only we are handing the reins of White Dwarf over to you, it is up to you to decide what goes in or what doesn't. Good luck"

    So, what do you do?

That would be a dream come true..

First of all, I would kick that boring Lord Of The Rings section out of the magazine, and use those pages for presenting cool army profiles instead. Then I would make the chapter approved and warhammer chronicles sections three times as big, and be a lot more liberal with introducing optional rules.

I would get Mike Walker to become a regular journalist in the magazine, and reintroduce Jim Davis and get him to make some nice new terrain. Then I would call that Xaero guy(you know he with the Steppenwolf character) and ask him to do a spacemarine jetbike conversion tutorial.
All the commercial pages would be replaced with fluff.

I would do something with the battlereports to make them more friendly reading, because I get bored after reading turn 3, I have only read like 3 battlereports from start to finish, and that's coming from a guy who has read close to a 100 books.

I would also push in more conversion and painting articles.
    Ave Dominus Nox!

Okay first thing is change my soiled pants then,

    1. Get rid of WHFB and LOTR sections.

    2. Add at least 4 battle reports, a terrain totorial of some kind, and have a huge fluff story of some kind.

    3. have a HUGE dearnought bash with a Dready from all the loyalist Chapters, Wolves, Templars, BA, DA, Ultras, Scars, Tearers, and all the Choas forces, EC, NL, WE, TS, DG, and WB fight for control of a small base in the center of a table from the next BBB.

    4. Have a pic on the front of a SM kicking a fantasy guy in the nads. MWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I realise that people still read the LOTR section. What I would do was merge it into the rest of the magasine in smaller parts with less of it. You CANT get rid of WHFB it would be like a sin! Its gw best game. I'd add plenty off chaptor approved, a WHFB and a 40k battle report (i hate just one&#33. I'd have alot of sample army lists, with pictures (I like looking at others armies&#33 and more conversion/terrain sections. Bring back painting masterclass for a page.

I would make a section about every army in WH 40k, as i don't really care about WHFB. At last the Eldar and the Tyranids would get some attention, and not just the bloody imperials and Chaos. I would have an army profile of the month, where i had gone to a local gw store and interviewed some avarage gamer about their army and taken a few pics of it.
Two battle reports in each issue, and a useful and not specialised terrain section. Fluff would be in the appropriate army section, and no issue would contain too much of one thing, like when the new Chaos army book came, the pages where filled with almost naught but Chaos... boring as hell.

    1) Drop the LoTR section. It's a specialist game and doesn't deserve to take up precious 40k pages, which is what has happened since they added it.

    2) Get rid of those stupid "buy our new army" battle reports. A new army comes out, they play it against another army. The new army always magically wins. Poof, sales go up. Interest goes down. Heck, get rid of battle reports in general. I don't really care about one single game that two people played, especially if I'm not watching it.

    3) Give EQUAL attention to the two games. Just because Chaos has got a few new models doesn't mean they deserve 75% of the magazine, or just because the Eye of Terror ended doesn't mean 40k deserves 75% of it.

    4) More painting and scenery workshops, but only if they are interesting. I swear if I see another stupid arse siege tower I'm going to never buy another WD. A Semaphor Tower!?!? What?!? Are you kidding me? Build something interesting at least.

    5) Give some attention to different armies every once in a while. Eldar, Nid's and Necrons haven't had much attention as of late, except for in a very poor battle report for the Crons, or maybe I just haven't noticed.
