Heya folks! I didn't know where else to put this, but it's made of drawing so it's here.
I had a hand drawng narrative animation due for school, and just finished it up today. I decided to post it since I'm extensively pleased with how it turned out and now I want to share it.
The piece is hand drawn, frame by frame, with vine charcoal on paper...I can't say for sure but I'm thinking it took around 50 hours to complete at least.
So here goes
Enjoy! And comments/critique are ALWAYS welcome. This video is copyright of myself. Ask permission before using.
EDIT: Alright, worked out the permissions, it's good to go.
Now that's awesome! Rep for you!
I can't really critique it since, well, I know nothing of these things. But I think it looked great.
Looks nice! seems like it ends kind of abruptly, but It reminds me of the movie "The Thing", but based in the future.
Did you base the soldiers off of anything?
very cool! Have you thought about a backstory?
Garrh, link no work. LINK SLOW AND LOAD AND LOAD AND LOAD. Garrh, again.
I'll try it later. I love cool animation. Will make a point of checking back.
Ahhh, satisfaction. It just then loaded. Very cool. I think the music is very well chosen. Gotta go for now.
*laughs nervously* yeaaah, I need to go re-compress that later this morning. Maybe I can get it smaller.
Thank you btw.
@ETnid I actually have an entire world setting previously fabricated that I just pull out for special occasions (special occasions being the first project I have with a professor) The "marines" are from said world. Think a cross between Rifts and Starcraft I guess? It's in the works as a pen-and-paper RPG.
