I want to read 40k novels, with focus on eldar or dark eldar, but they seems to be all about space marines. Any tips?
There are not all that many Black Library novels that focus on Eldar, I am afraid, though they do feature in a few books. The classic Eldar book is of course ‘Farseer’ by William King, which is also free of Space Marines in general. Personally, though, I didn’t find the book to be all that good, and I doubt you would learn anything new about the Eldar race from it.
‘Shadow Point’ by Gordon Rennie would be a better choice in my opinion. It has been a while since I read it, though, so I can’t remember in details just how much new fluff is included in it, but it is the book that taught me most about the Eldar, and to my knowledge it is also the only book that have Eldar as main characters and actually offer the story from their point of view while staying fairly true to their fluff too.
‘Crimson Tears’ by Ben Counter is very much a book on Space Marines, but there is also a few Dark Eldar to be found in there. However, I wouldn’t buy the book for the Eldar alone, since they don’t appear in person more than just once or twice. The same goes for ‘Dawn of War’ by G. S. Goto, which I would advise you to stay clear of. Play the game instead, if you haven’t yet.
And then there are of course a bunch of short stories featuring Eldar too, but since you specifically asked for novels, I’ll not mention too many of those. One that does deserve mention, though, is the short story ‘Snares & Delusions’ by Matthew Farrer, which to my knowledge is the only Black Library story (in the anthologies, at least) featuring Exodites. It can be found in the anthology ‘Dark Imperium’.
I hope this might help you narrow your search a bit. Good luck.
