Is it worth buying for the Nid vs Ork battle report?
Well it's certainly not worth spending £4.00 on a magazine if all you're interested in is the battle report. You may as well borrow it off a friend. It is an interesting report, but only kill team so it's not on a huge scale. It's pretty much a must if you are a nid player who often plays killteam, and interested in fantasy and LOTR as well, but if you aren't at least one of these then i'd just read someone elses.
The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is that tattooed people are awesome and can kick your ass.
"War does not determine who is right - only who is left."
I've only read the US version, which has alot of good Nid coverage and some great painted models from GamesDay and various other events, but I've seen all those online.
Question for the UK readers...They said there was going to be a Tau Battlesuit conversion special in the UK one. Was there anything? And was it worth picking up? Any CA material for Tau suits?
Record as of 26 December for my Static Tau Cadre.
10 wins, 0 losses, and 1 draw.
Last game: Victory over Necron in a 600 point "kill em all" that lasted til turn 10 ending with a phase out.
There are 3 conversions in the Covershun Klinik. I didn;t like them myself, but then I'm no Tau player myself. The Battlesuits were assembled and converted to look as if they were banking round corners, flying fast etc. I wasn't too keen on them, and didn't think the article was all that much to write home about (but then, Tau are not a favourite race of mine or anything). It's a one page spread, 3 models, and two tips on leg assembly/positioning to give impression of movement.
