I'm thinking about becoming a Rogue Trader for GW. I was wondering what the requirements are and what it would entail. Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

Firstly, it is Rogue.
Secondly, try calling GW directly. Their marketing division will have all the info you need. We don't.

I was going to say what Corianis said. I imagine GW only give info like that our directly.
I knew that word looked funny this morning. I'm planning on calling them this afternoon. I'm just rather impatient. I'd also like to know how the company treats it's employee's.
If I could offer a guess based on what I've hear around local hobby shops, the benefits of becoming a Rogue Trader shop are probably proportional to the total distance to the nearest GW store.
In other words, if you're remote from the official stores and there aren't many other shops in your area, they will probably treat you pretty well.
Also, from my experience as a 40k consumer and a hobby shop employee, stocking the stuff won't really get you there. You'll need to have space devoted to folks playing-- so like, floor space for a table, scenery, etc. The place I worked just sold Warhammer stuff, but offered no community support. Not surprisingly, sales of Warhammer stuff was low, and the store just dropped it eventually.
I'm still kicking myself for not buying the hard-bound 40k RPG book when I worked there. I used to love reading all the fluff.
I just want to be able to put together large game events for GW. The 2 shops that are local to me have gaming areas. The one that I regularly go to has 12 tables or so, all of which can be joined together for mega battles etc... I was told by my shop that they pay you in models not in cash. That's fine I suppose, because I have to have something to give away for winning tournaments etc...
