A short story
Ceberus swung his twin axes slowly to intimidate his opponent that in unison with him circled the crude arena. No battles had been fought this day. Khorne must be appeased. Frosty breath seeped from the helmet of his gore caked crimson armour as his minions chanted in their guttural tongue for blood to be spilled. He eyed the underling usurper that dared to challenge his rule; the whelp was confident as ever. Ceberus laughed mirthlessly and charged at his opponent raising his axes high then dropped them with bone shattering force. Stryke raised his shield and partially blocked the blows as one cleaved through his shield and embedded in his shoulder, he cursed and tried to strike back but Ceberus easily blocked the blow then lifted both axes and in a bloody arc separated his head from the rest of his body, the lifeless corpse slumped to the ground with a clang of metal armour. Ceberus lifted his trophy for his band to see. ‘‘any more wish to join Khorne on the Brass Throne!?’’
Please read and review. If you liked it shall I write more?
