Has anyone here checked out the new e-zine at the GW site, Black Gobbo? If so what do you think about it? I really like it, because it adds more to the resourses that players have at their fingertips. One thing I think they should improve upon is maybe having more articles, especially since it is only bi-weekly. Looking foreward to hearing your thoughts
Its pretty cool but some of the articles are jsut recaps of the white dwarf articles.

Black Gobbo seems to be cool so far. Informative, great for beginners more than ard Nobs such as myself.
WAAAGH! Da Black Gobbo
"Da Orks is da best cuz we ar ded ard an killy, mean, green, krumpin machines, hav da most dakka, da stompiest dreads, da shootiest gunz, da biggest bosses, an we uze choppas...WAAAGH!"
Yeah it is pretty cool, though they should create a download section where you could save a PDF of the articles.
Would make it an easier read since GW's site has a habit of burrying stuff in elusive corners.

Hmmm, a white dwarf 3 or 4 years back was called the Black Gobbo, it was a one off to celebrate the release or the Goblins for Warhammer, just like they had Da White Ork when Orks were realesed for 40k.
I live in your eyes
Is the name "Black Gobbo" supposed to be a parody of "White Dwarf"? i mean, black n white, Dwarf n Gobbo... ... ... <_<
um... so is it just for orc fans?
FROM THE BOOK OF THE IMPERIUM:
1. Thou shalt not go on a panty raid in the Adaptus Soritus temple.
2. Thou shalt not flirt with Howling Banshees. They are the enemy.
3. Thou shalt not refer to Battle Sisters as Bolter Biatches
4. Darth Vader isn’t the son of Abaddon
5. Thou shalt not reassemble a Necron into a washing machine
No, it's just a GW resource that anyone can read without having to pay and subscribe to a magazine. I suppose they don't put very much fancy stuff in it to incourage people to subscribe to White Dwarf.
I would have to disagree with that white-black dwarf-gobbo thing.
What Is Black Gobbo?
That's a good question, because the answer is not self-evident from the title. Black Gobbo is a biweekly online magazine produced by Game Workshop's US Studio. Similar to its print counterpart, White Dwarf (Get it? Black Gobbo, White Dwarf? Ahem), Black Gobbo is devoted to the games and hobbies created by GW.

yeah its good, i disagree with the post 'bout making you want to go byu wd, its a good little w-zine, and its had some neet stuff too.
The White Dwarf / Black Gobin thing IS a parody. It was an issue to celebrate the re-release of Goblins. The mag was apparently taken over by Da Black Gobbo and it became the editor instead of (! the White Dwarf.
